Conference: Verification Futures 2019 (click here to see full programme)
Speaker: Balasubramanian Gopalakrishnan, T&VS Consultant ( Presenting on behalf of Infineon Technologies UK )
Presentation Title: Using PSS (Portable Stimulus Standard): An Automotive Case Study
Abstract: Reporting on the experiences of applying Portable Test and Stimulus Standard (PSS) tooling to cope with the ever-increasing complexity of verification of SoC designs at Infineon.

A PSS flow was developed to address the integration challenge of a complex on-chip debug infrastructure. Test case automation has reduced the effort to verify correct integration, both at subsystem level but also in reuse at SOC level and for future product derivatives.

The use of abstracted models facilitates increased test portability and allows users to generate integration tests without in-depth knowledge of all IPs.

Speaker Bio: Balasubramanian (Balsu) is a Verification Team Leader working with Test and Verification Solutions Ltd. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from CIT, India.
