Abstract:

This talk will focus on the key trends that will drive the way we design chips in the next 3 to 5 years from overcoming the slow down in Moore’s Law, through the impact of AI/ML to Quantum on the horizon. They offer both challenge and opportunity, and the Tessolve Centre of Excellence projects are already working on how best to support customers.

Speaker Biography:

Dr Mike Bartley has over 30 years of experience in software and VLSI. He has with at a number of major companies (including STMicroelectronics, Infineon, Panasonic and start-up ClearSpeed) and also advised a number of companies (ARM, NXP, TI, Intel, and multiple start-ups). Mike joined Tessolve semiconductors through the acquisition of his own company (Test and Verification Solutions).

Mike has a PhD in Mathematics (Bristol University), and 8 MSc’s in various subjects including management, software engineering, computer security robotics and AI. He is currently studying (remotely) for an MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency, and another in Quantum Computing.
