|Conference:||Tessolve Technology Symposium|
|Presentation Title:||Technology trends in VLSI
This talk will focus on the key trends that will drive the way we design chips in the next 3 to 5 years from overcoming the slow down in Moore’s Law, through the impact of AI/ML to Quantum on the horizon. They offer both challenge and opportunity, and the Tessolve Centre of Excellence projects are already working on how best to support customers.
Dr Mike Bartley has over 30 years of experience in software and VLSI. He has with at a number of major companies (including STMicroelectronics, Infineon, Panasonic and start-up ClearSpeed) and also advised a number of companies (ARM, NXP, TI, Intel, and multiple start-ups). Mike joined Tessolve semiconductors through the acquisition of his own company (Test and Verification Solutions).
Mike has a PhD in Mathematics (Bristol University), and 8 MSc’s in various subjects including management, software engineering, computer security robotics and AI. He is currently studying (remotely) for an MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency, and another in Quantum Computing.
