Overview
The AI era is colliding with the end of classical scaling, forcing us to redesign the whole infrastructure layer and come up with new architectures. AI workloads from massive foundation models to real-time edge inference now demand orders-of-magnitude improvements in compute density, memory bandwidth and energy efficiency. In this keynote, I will outline innovations that are redefining the semiconductor roadmap for AI and more complex computational tasks we are facing. Speaking as an investor, I would also like to highlight recent investment trends and talk about what I see as the largest opportunities that are opening up to build new winners in that space. The goal is to draw a system-level view on how next generation semiconductors and the industry will evolve.
