Interoperability
Interoperability is defined as: “the ability of two systems or components to
pass information in one or more directions and to use the information that has
been received.”
ZigBee Interoperability
This is defined as the ability of two ZigBee systems or components to pass
information in all directions. ZigBee interoperability means application
profile interoperability, in addition to PHY, MAC, Network and Security
interoperability.
Interoperability allows the ZigBee nodes of a lighting system to work with the
ZigBee network.
Interoperability Test
Interoperability Testing is complex and demanding, but indispensable. The high
demands of IOT on overall system expertise and the need for effective
integration of results and experiences in to the quality assurance processes. A
network manufacturer's or a mobile platform vendor's success in this discipline
therefore represents a notable competitive advantage in maximizing the
end-user's benefit and satisfaction.
